This Privacy Statement deals with the privacy of the personal information collected from the members of the Venue.
The Venue Operator is committed to respecting the privacy of personal information in its possession and is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in relation to the handling of personal information.
For the purposes of this Privacy Statement, the words “we”, “us”, “our” mean the Venue Operator and/or its related bodies corporate. The words, “you”, “yours”, mean the person named in the membership application form.
We will collect personal information that you choose to give us as part of your membership application. This personal information is recorded in the membership database and is stored for the period during which you remain a member of the Venue, including your name, postal address, contact details, date of birth and any other information that you provide on the application form as amended from time to time.
We will only collect personal information with your consent. Personal information is generally collected through the use of the membership application form, weather via hardcopy, in person or over the phone.
Personal Information collected will be added to our mailing list unless you advise us that you do not consent to receiving information from us in relation to your membership or the venue.
All personal information collected is securely stored and reasonable steps are taken to ensure its protection against misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure.
If you choose not to provide certain personal information to us that are mandatory, we may not be able to approve your membership.
We may collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes necessary to carry out membership functions and provide our membership services and programs. The primary purposes for which personal information is collected, held, used and disclosed to third parties would generally relate to;

We are committed to taking reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure and against other misuse. These steps include storing electronic files in secure facilities, encryption of data, regular backups of data we hold, audit and logging mechanisms and physical access restrictions.
When no longer required, personal information is destroyed in a secure manner.
You may contact us to request access to your personal information that we hold. We will respond within a reasonable time and provide access to the information requested, except in circumstances where refusal of access is permitted or authorised by law.
To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, we may have to verify your identity, including but not limited to obtaining from you, evidence of your identity and personal details before providing you access to your personal information.
If your personal information is incorrect, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, you must notify us to correct your personal information. Requests will be dealt with in a reasonable time period. We will take reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date. All complaints are taken seriously and are dealt with promptly.
